Pros

Team environment, growth opportunities, paid training, performance-based bonuses

Cons

If you have never had a people-facing job, it can be challenging because you are talking to a lot of people per day (colleagues, clients, consumers)

Pros

They make the office fun. They have to so you forget you're an AT&T salesman.

Cons

It's basically a cult. You show up in suits to an office where your base pay is like $10 an hour. You practice sales pitches to get people to switch to AT&T. Then you go to your store, usually Costco or Walmart and harass shoppers to buy AT&T. The final "promotion" is where you then start your own LLC so you can recruit people to work under you.

Pros

They make it seem very professional but it's not. They like to verbalize things in the interview that aren't actually true so there's no paper trail.

Cons

The job is standing in a store like Costco or Walmart and trying to sell AT&T to shoppers. That's this "prestigious" job they have. Base pay is like $10 an hour. It's a smart circle company (legal pyramid scheme). RUN!

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify the structure of Synaptic and address the characterization mentioned in the review. Synaptic operates as a direct marketing agency that delivers face-to-face customer engagement and acquisition campaigns through live retail events and in-person marketing initiatives for partner brands. Our work focuses on connecting companies directly with consumers through real interactions that generate measurable campaign results. Advancement within the organization is merit-based and tied to performance metrics, including individual campaign results, consistency, and leadership development. Opportunities for growth are connected to performance within these campaigns and not to recruitment, meaning individuals do not earn income by bringing others into the organization. During the interview process we aim to maintain transparency regarding the in-person campaign environment, expectations of the role, and how performance outcomes influence advancement opportunities. This allows candidates to determine whether the role aligns with their professional interests. Because employment matters involve private information, specific individual experiences cannot be addressed publicly. Please contact hr@synapticincorporated.com so we can review your concerns directly. Warm Regards, Synaptic
