Pros

Friendly work environment until 2011! Until 2011, I enjoyed going to work. Had a wonderful supervisor until she was forced out of her supervisor position. Was owned privately until 2012. Ratings before company was sold are below!

Cons

Private owners sold the company to Trilogy, a nursing facility company. Some people who had worked there for a long time who the company considered too old were terminated.

Synchrony Health Services Response

Thank you for your review, Trilogy was invested in PCA starting in 2002 and owned 81% of the company when they purchased the other 19% from the remaining 2 investors. We have addressed the bullying and thank you for bringing it to our attention and provide constant training and coaching to ensure we have a great work environment! We strive everyday to improve our culture and team to work together and support one another. I am sorry that you found the transition for the best fit for you.

most people you work with are amazing what they do as a company is good

Cons

The PIC yells at everyone and thinks it’s perfectly normal If you ever have a problem they will blow it off. Harassment or not, they do not care. Definitely don’t pay enough, no work life balance If you don’t work past your scheduled time, you’ll get the cold shoulder. Not much room for growth Expensive insurance

Pros

There are very few pros to list. basically benefits like Trilogy perks, vision and dental benefits. East end location near lots of restaurants.

Cons

Company hires new people with less experience and knowledge instead of promoting knowledgeable, hard-working, dedicated employees from within. There is a lot of favoritism. Company states there is an open door policy which is not true. If you state something that the supervisor doesn't like during an open door discussion, you can and will be written up. It has happened to more than one employee. There is also a lot of bullying that goes on. Management does nothing when it is brought to their attention. Possibly because some of the bullying is done management themselves. If you have a passion to serve and do a good job, look elsewhere. Your passion will be wasted and your good job will be overlooked, unless you are a personal friend of someone in management.

Thank you for your review and I hope you have found a company that is better suited for you. We appreciate your 8 years of service and very sorry that you were not recognized appropriately. We have a very robust recognition program and each year with have a Team Member of the Year at each location, it is PEER nominated and voted on. As a growing company we have had a lot of promotions in the past 3 years which 75% of these individuals were current team members who have made very positive contribution to PCA's growth and success. Again thank you for your review and we are sorry that PCA was not what you wanted in a company.
