Pros

There are no positives of working for this company whatsoever.

Cons

Managers regularly interact with their subordinates in a disrespectful manner. Employees are condescended to, addressed rudely, and screamed at with no consequences or recourse for this kind of treatment. Management's overall attitude is "every man for himself." This is exemplified by an absence of proper job training, lack of effective communication, poor work/life balance, and persistent willingness to defer delegated responsibilities to unaccountable parties. Employees are blamed for errors unequivocally made by their superiors and employees will spend a considerable amount of their work hours gathering tangible evidence to defend themselves against these false accusations. This company is notorious for paying some of the lowest salaries in the industry when compared to equivalent positions at competing CROs. The substandard salaries combined with the uncivil conduct exhibited by managers make this a miserable place to work. Employees are clearly stressed, exhausted, and depressed. Working for Syneos Health will degrade the overall quality of your life and after you burn out, you won't have any career progression to show for it. Avoid this company.

Pros

Very flexible schedules, work from home options allowed for work life balance. Benefits for Manhattan based employees are good.

Cons

Poor compensation, very little room for growth especially for young employees. Many employees have been stagnant in the same positions for many years

Pros

Week vacation around Christmas time. Flexibility with work hours and some work from home options.

Cons

Merger has been awful. Cost of benefits increased dramatically. They are doing away with monetary bonuses for the most part for a silly points system that many do not favor. You no longer get to carry over PTO time. All of the SOPs and systems are changing. Resourcing is horrible and top performers get rewarded with more work. For a company who states that there goal is maintain top talent you sure have a poor way of showing it.
