      - Poor people management and lack of accountability at the management level - Disrespectful communication from leadership, including being talked down to and undermined in front of others - Feedback culture feels punitive rather than constructive - Employees are not supported or treated with empathy during layoffs - HR processes are inconsistent and require excessive follow-up, essentially nonexistent

      Hired for a REMs program that was ending in October of 2025. FDA pulled the plug early, leaving over 50 employees jobless. Syneos solution? Nothing. No severance, not even I’m sorry. The best part? They scrambled and selected 50 of us to go to another REMs program before the contracts were even signed. Got an offer, 24 hours later, find out they aren’t signing the contract and our jobs were done. They had nothing else to offer. They do not care. Select who they want for positions, even when they say it’s “fair”. Bonus payouts take months, and if your manager doesn’t like you? You’ll get docked dollar for dollar on that bonus. Stay. A w a y.

      Not much to say. The ability to work remote, although the new CEO mentioned he wanted to bring people back into the office.

      Cons

      The salary is low compared to the market, the annual bonuses and merit increases are a joke (they don’t even cover inflation), no career growth, the company has some of the most toxic people I’ve ever worked with in my professional career, lots of company politics and dancing around people’s toes, leadership is stuck in their old ways and nothing ever changes, HR doesn’t care about you. There were 3 different CEO’s in my less than 2 yrs at the company if that is indicative of anything. Toxic. Toxic. Toxic.
