Long Ag history and community involvement

Pros

Agricultural biotech industry growth Pay and benefits good Great people

Cons

Really poor diversity in senior leader roles and at line level with minorities in the US; board of directors (1 women / 8 men - 11% representation) and executive committee ( 1 woman - HR of course / 5 men) are good examples. Old boy network throughout pockets in the organization as well as cultural biases. If you are an aspiring woman or minority don't waste more than a few years here gain some experience and set pay then move on to opportunities that meet your goals. There are other Agchem companies with better diversity that deliver against their commitments, BASF.
