      Pros

      Greatly enjoyed my time working at Syngenta. Very good people, and company states great policies about work/life balance and development/promotion. Has stated focus on increasing diversity.

      Cons

      Unfortunately it doesn't quite deliver ... everyone is salaried so most work more than prescribed hours, and development/promotion feels very political. Diversity definitely needs work.

      - Relatively high job security - Good food at cafeteria - Options for changing roles every now and then

      Cons

      - little vision - a lot of bureucracy - little promotion or salary increase opportunities - a lot of people would be happy to give advice or have endless meetings, but few people have courage to take actions and ownership
