      Great "brand" but no internal collaboration

      Pros

      It has a great work/life balance and people in general are very polite and understanding. It is a great company to acquire some experience in your area of expertise.

      Cons

      It does not have a clear north. Somewhere between the constant change of ownerships since the 90s and the constant acquisitions and mergers in all directions, Syngenta lost its north. It does not have a unique personality, as it mostly depends on the business unit and country you deal with. No internal collaboration and the worst thing is its global IT architecture chaos.

      Big and structured company! The people are very helpful and the environment is positive.

      Cons

      Because of its size, there are many patterns and systematic standards that have to be followed that can be an inconvenience.
