All overtime has been drastically cut to the point that shifts are Permanently working short handed with no senior operators on site. Training coverage is not being provided at all. This is making the work place extremely unsafe due to a lack of proper manning and experience.
Maintenance jobs for technicians have skyrocketed. You are expected to be multi craft including instrument tech work, millwright work, pipefitter work, and hydro blasting. All while being short handed and with little to no training on such work.
The amount of red tape you have to go through to get anything done causes unrealistic time constraints on tasks as simple as unlocking a pump or walking out a permit.
