      Pros

      I was Full time employee in Design group (DG), so below things are only applicable to DG - 1. Work life balance is good 2. Constant flow of work, never too high, never too low 3. No Micro managing 4. Synopsys has many talented and loyal employees and they are open to share knowledge 5. May be good for Experienced people as company is stable

      I was Full time employee in Design group (DG), so below things are only applicable to DG - 1. Compensation is average 2. Benefits are average 3. No fun, no social, only work 4. Employee's average age is around 40 and above, so lacks young people in work force 5. Not much diversity in work force 6. Old fashioned company

      Pros

      Good company culture. People are nice to each other in general. You can have work and life balance. Financially the company is pretty stable and strong.

      Cons

      Pay is not up to par. Management is focusing a lot on stock performance and cost control. There's a lot of old people working here and the company is lack of dynamics.
