Decent work/life balance. Caltrain pass for long commuters.

Cons

Legacy Technology. No team work. No respect for people from diverse culture. Manager is a control-freak, who wants absolute control over his product, and doesn't want anyone to mess up his perfect code and architecture. Assigns low priority tasks and insults eagerness to learn and grow in the company, as he is the final decision maker.

Pros

Location is close to Caltrain, office space is modern, near ballpark & waterfront. Snacks & drinks. Some smart people but PhDs make for big egos.

Cons

Badly run organization that has no desire to change. Not at all focused on employees. You do well if you follow commands & orders to the letter whether it’s the right thing to do for the company or not. Don’t want feedback so only apply here if you do well pandering to egos.
