Senior management that is completely out of touch
Pay is very inconstant for the same job, some are paid fairly (on the low side) others are getting way below market
Unqualified or toxic people are allowed free reign to make their own hours, watch Netflix all day, or just be downright insubordinate
Communication between management levels is almost nonexistent
Performance metric are completely arbitrary, and the same across all job descriptions (eg a tier 1 help desk person and a tier 4 server person are judged the same)
Policies are not enforced the same between regions or teams
At the last all hands they said that the company has more allotted project hours than resources, and that is if everyone from HR to sales to executives were all put to work (think about that)
There has been high turnover in HR, what did they know I wonder?
The current round of layoffs witch affected about 7% of the companies head count was done in a vacuum at the executive level (probably at the sole decision) of the new COO (who hasn't done a single useful thing this year). This was done without any input from mangers or team leads. Not only did the mangers not have any input, they weren't even told before they started! Letting 30 people go without even talking to the front line managers, just think about, think about the message it sends.
