Pros

The company has a very good work culture. The people here at all levels making coming into the office something I actually look forward to. The company is large enough to have scale and great benefits, but still sized so each employee can be heard and recognized. If you thrive on learning, change, and want personal and professional growth, Synoptek is ideal.

Cons

There are many new initiatives introduced with regularity, which is a regular challenge. All-in-all, I'd rather work for a company that continues to evolve and adapt to a changing market that one that stagnates. Change management isn't always executed with perfection.

Pros

One of the best things about Synoptek is that there is such a vast array of technology we support and implement for our clients. No matter where you are in your IT career, there is something for you at Synoptek. And no doubt a path for you to grow in. HR and management have a good policy and people to help employees find what they enjoy and are good at so if you're unhappy, you can find out what you need to do to make that jump to something else in the company. Culture has really developed well in the several years I've been around. Fun people, brilliant team members and a growing business! Also, a lot of teams have great flexible work schedules and often working remotely is an option in some cases.

Cons

Definitely not the job for you if you want to disappear or slack off. You will get busy and you will be overwhelmed at times. You will get barked at by angry customers at times. You will feel like you have 60 hour worth of work to do in 20 hours. So, not the type of job for underachievers, know-it-alls, people who can't be team players, or people who don't answer their cell phone when they're on call.
