      Pros

      Synoptek's culture is what makes Synoptek and the people that work here special. The company is led by some innovative and passionate leaders that consistently strive for excellence and I can say are mentors to many in the organization. The leaders want to see you succeed and the opportunities are certainly there with how fast the company is growing. Although Synoptek continues to grow, the company still has a small-company entrepreneurial mindset. The company really does invest in its employees with nice office perks, travel and trains, and other benefits that a company this size does not have to do.

      Cons

      Everything is constantly changing, but that is the nature of the industry and can be seen as a positive to take on new things.

      I honestly love my job and the people I work with. We all are a team, no matter were we are located. Everyone is dedicated and hard working. And a huge plus, is that Synoptek is family friendly, and values every individual.

      Cons

      Some individuals are so brilliant that it's hard to keep up.

      Pros

      There are a lot of opportunities to further your career and learn new things. Synoptek helps their customers move their IT forward. Therefore, they are help them implement new systems, new technologies, migrate to the cloud, etc. Some of my colleagues started out in the NOC and are now senior security engineers or developing mobile apps.

      Cons

      The downside is that a lot of times Synoptek customers have crummy systems. They didn't come to us because everything was working great. Usually we have to deal with a lot of problems. However, once we get it in control it is OK. We work hard.
