Professional opportunities, opportunity for growth, some departments have excellent atmospheres, working with students, opportunity for a free education, very stable.

Cons

HIERARCHY, there are a lot of people that don't carry their own work-load, people get too comfortable here which leads to a lot of non-productivity.
