Pros

For the most part, as long as your territory is consistently growing, you will be very well compensated.

Cons

Downside to working with Sysco is the toxic work environment. I witnessed management talk down on different cultures that were not like them. Loads of admin to keep up with, along with also being in the field speaking with your customers. The operations & transportation of the company mostly perform poorly, which can also cause you to lose customers. The training system in place does not properly prepare you for field work and admin.

Pros

Good products, good managers, opportunity to make decent money

Cons

Corporate is ran by people who don’t really understand food service distribution. Way to top heavy. All about share holders and corporate will screw the sales team as hard as they try and screw customers. Every thing is for the shareholders and not employees.
