Overall: Good. Things can always be better, however, things can always be worse.
Pros
This company is less than one year old, so, due to this newness there are opportunities for aggressive employees to establish themselves as key players and profit-makers. Company owners are excellent motivators and understand the link between their employees and the company's success. Company owners treat employees like friends and family, and they seem to be willing to give employees flex schedules to balance work/life and compensate for initial lower than average salaries. Commission plans are in place to reward top producers, and there is a company 401k. Teams seem eager to improve their productivity, and creativity is encouraged to create growth.
Cons
Brand new company. My salary appears to be less than average when reviewed against my education, experience, and profit generation for the company. Growth is so fast that it seems as though human resources and payroll teams are having a hard time keeping up - paychecks can be late, promised commissions are hard to get payed, it can take over a week to get answers from key players, and information does not seem to flow properly in the communication channels. There are no official reviews, so employees are responsible for boasting their own success, requesting their own raises, and/or identifying why their co-workers are negative team members. The benefits package is not attractive.
