You get to take responsibility of what you deliver by participating to the entire cycle of a requirement implementation (business analysis, providing the solution, writing technical documentation, implementing).
Cons
The upper management in quite rigid regarding the budget, wfh, few opportunities to increase your salary since advancement criteria is pretty vague.
