Pros

Discount on phone and employee phone plan. Excel in skill of verbal talking. Customer relationship skills. Improve on your speech and confidence in talking to anyone in general. Increase your sales skills as T-Mobile have a system of teaching you how to sell their products and how to sell it well. Playing with their phone in the store is also fun. Co-workers are cool. But district managers maybe a bit of jerks into coming to meet sales quotes. Health benefits for part time workers also. 401K plan vacation benefits Free stuff in meetings like pens, free phone raffles and food.

Cons

Retail hours... Dealing with people... Scheduling T-Mobile can be a great place to work at. But if you have other priorities in life and you don't put them as the number one priority in your life.... your life will can be a nightmare at T-Mobile. They want you to place them above anyone and anything else in your life. Their mode is always money money money. Management doesn't care about anything else which is understandable. T-Mobile is good for people who can work full time, dedicated in sales and commitment. Managers do not tolerate anything or you will be replaced.

Pros

T-Mobile has a good culture, a very solid set of shared values, and keeps a positive focus on both customers and employees. Lots of formal and informal recognition. The compensation and benefits programs are extremely competitive, and not just with other telecommunications companies. Would be an attractive place to work compared to many industries. And in an economic recession, people don't give up their cell phones!

Cons

The company grew too fast and processes and systems haven't caught up with size. IT becomes the knothole everything has to flow through. People are well intentioned, but the lack of a clear way to get things done creates inefficiencies.

Pros

They do offer good benefits.

Cons

their management cannot deal with adversity. The company puts a lot of policies in place to hinder them from being able to handle possible problems. In the given economy they have so many applicants that they have lost sight of maintaining their current workforce. The shift bids are not set up fairly, and most of the shifts are horrible.
