      Corporate but ok

      Pros

      Good work life balance compared to previous employers. Benefits are good, especially 401 contributions. Good mix of employees of different ages.

      Cons

      Corporate nonsense as is the standard in most places. Management tends younger and quite often less qualified than those they supervise. Upper management does not seem to be a progressive as in the past, but there is no contact with them anyway.

      Pros

      Smart, thoughtful colleagues who genuinely care about each other. Team environment with flexibility.

      Cons

      Culture has negatively changed over the last few years. Used to care more about employee welfare, but now they care more about the stockholders. Everyone is burnt out and struggling to stay afloat. It's really sad. I used to think that I'd work here until I retired. Now, after 15 years, I don't think that will be the case.

      Pros

      Good pay. Excellent 401K contributions. Decent budgets. Good work/life balance depending on which department you work

      Cons

      -Very stuffy and homogeneous place. -New ideas are encouraged but are not executed on. When new and improved ways of doing things are attempted, their impact is quickly diluted by any member of senior management. -Their diversity initiatives are just about checking a box. Being different in any way from an upper/middle class ideal of what is professional is definitely seen as a negative. -Do not expect to lead there. Managing with COA as a top priority is encouraged.
