Pros

TD bank is a great bank to start your banking career. Hours are open for people who want to go to school if part time.

Cons

The hours for full time employees. Being open 7 days a week. Not enouhg compensation for the amount of work they expect form every employee.

Pros

Colleagues are friendly and supportive. Work hour is very consistent. Good benefit. Management cares about the opinions of the employees.

Cons

Work process is too bureaucratic. IT infrastructure is out-dated and ineffective. Most managers are business-alike, without the technical expertise to lead a technical group.

Pros

TD Securities offers an open door working environment where team work and risk taking is rewarded. The culture is like that of a smaller firm, offering an entrepreneurial feel.

Cons

A lot of management shake-ups over the past few years. TD Bank, TD Securities parent company, does not value TD Securities, and therefore does not support its growth beyond the current status quo. In other words, TD Securities will likely being doing the same level of business as it is currently doing 10 years into the future. TD Securities has no major growth plans.
