Pros
The actual work is fun and challenging. You work with great people. They have an employee stock purchase plan, 401(k) matching, etc.. There are some good training opportunities, usually unofficial flex time, and usually let you take time off when you want too. Lateral moves within the company are encouraged. You can get 'spot' or 'impact' bonuses, but they are increasingly rare.
Cons
Low annual raises won't keep up with inflation. Annual bonuses are usually not very good. Few opportunities for promotion. They expect you to perform more and better every year, but don't really reward you for good performance. Every year the health benefits cost more.
