Pros
Hands-on experience with lead prep, soldering, wiring, and chemical treatment. Opportunity to work with machines and SAP data entry. Enjoyable task variety and keeping jobs organized. Gained experience in inventory management and job tracking. Learned teamwork and leadership and process coordination (even in a small team).
Cons
High production quotas (85% by end of shift) could be stressful, especially with a small team. Staffing in the area was often insufficient (ideally 5–6 people, sometimes only 2). Delays or shortages in materials caused workflow interruptions. Communication with planners could be challenging; sometimes orders were incorrect or not believed.
