Pros

The pay is great at $20/hour for easy marketing/promotional work.

Cons

Very few opportunities to work, and management does not know many answers to questions. They're learning as they go.

Pros

Perfect job for business and hospitality students! Flexible schedule with the opportunity to gain experience in sales and marketing. This company generally requires brand training prior to working corresponding activations. HUGE plus! It's good to be visually appealing, even better to be outgoing, friendly, and know what your talking about.

Cons

If your activation manager doesn't regularly spot check events, you can get stuck in some awkward situations amongst other promotional specialists who may not value their job as much as you do yours. For example your colleges will want to leave an event early or drink while working with an adult beverage client. However this is not a genuine 'con' because you always have the opportunity to make your own decisions and do the right thing.
