Pros

Everything is fine if you learn to play the part. Tell them what they want to hear. I was there for over three years and I became very close with the sales manager. I made her interests mine. Told her what went on when she was gone. Always kept her informed.

Cons

They claim to have a flexible work schedule for the sales staff but they still micromanage. Sales management also creates a culture of distrust, nervousness, and fear. Office politics dominate. They frequently guard information and treat it as power. They are MIA when needed most, especially in times of crisis, when critical decisions need to be made. Lacking any personal accountability, they blame everyone else when something goes wrong. They are tolerant of employees who do average or subpar work as long as they suck up and try to make the bad boss look good. It’s almost like a game to them, and they toy with people as though they are puppets. They have a very high turnover.

Pros

Clean Building, Nice Parking, Pay is par for the course. Nation wide it is a good organization with a lot to offer, locally however, the mark has been missed due to local senior management

Cons

Senior Management, little to no training and large expectations with little explanation. There were other posts on here about complaints about people, it is true that nothing is done about it. It is a true good ol boys club with management across the board. Their media products is all about the bottom line and not about service.

Pros

Base comp ok? Fellow colleagues (the insignificant peasants, not the corporate royalty) are good people.

Cons

Poor health care with extremely high deductibles. Young media company with too many chiefs and not enough Indians. The corporate teams are comprised of pompous and arrogant people who look at spread sheets to tell you everything you do wrong but not one of them has an original thought or idea to improve the situation. Lots of "peeingon territory" at the corporate level and those people have no problem demeaning, bashing, verbally abusing their subordinates. They also have 0 accountability. Even when a mandate they direct goes sour, you are to blame since the royal corporate elites are never wrong. The CEO spent nearly 20 minutes of her Town Hall the other month bashing on Donald Trump. Obviously the company is run by left wing nut jobs who will do anything to favor left wing progressive ways. But I find it appalling that this lady would use a corporate forum to promote her political beliefs on the entire company. Maybe she is retiring because someone on the board woke up? As far as products, depends on your affiliate but in the broadcast side everything is chaos. Their digital platforms are subbed out to G/O Digital which is over priced and competitively flawed. Their online display is a repackaged white label of Collective. Agencies can buy directly from Collective in New York for 50% the cost! As far as GO services those are about a 50% markup as well (email, social media, websites...all but search which they promote 30% margin...which they use Kinsho as a platform and anyone with a lick of common sense could run their own for about 10% margin if they wanted to use Kinsho). If you want to take vacation they will let you...just expect your cell phone to ring all day every day while you on vacation. They will call you at home after work, weekends if they feel like it and you vacation is nothing more than working remotely.
