Great Training - Terrible culture
Pros
-Incredible training within recruiting, sales, and business -Teaches grit, persistence, and building relationships
Cons
I worked at TEKsystems for over 2 years. Let's just say this, the people that are still there are working there because they haven't had a professional job outside of TEKsystems. That's their entire model...hire people straight out of college so they have no idea how much better other companies are. -Your first day you are immediately being judged by the office to see if you will last there or not, if you'll be a good recruiter, etc. -You go to lunch with the entire office (1 person each day), which is absolutely awesome and rare, but it's really to just get that "cult-like" thinking in your head immediately -The training is essentially this: "Call as many people as possible, build your network, put them to work" -There are people that are put on different "skill-sets" to recruit on, some are much easier to be successful in (specifically a skill-set called EUS at TEKsystems), and those people usually are held in high regard in the office without leadership factoring how much easier it is to get placements It's really sad because the last two directors there were actually two of the best guys I've ever met (from a personal perspective) but when they get in that role, it's like TEKsystems ruins who they are. I've seen someone become a different person after leaving that position. Go read reviews for TEKsystems in other locations - it's all the same. You will never experience politics, backstabbing, and people pretending to care about you like you will there. Everyone pushes you to be successful by pretending they are your family and care about you, but if you leave (even in a positive way), they won't reach out to you anymore.
