Pros
When other recruiters stopped calling, TEK kept on putting my name out there. They were courteous, engaged and active in making sure they found me a good fit.
Cons
While I appreciate their efforts tremendously, they did ask me to agree to a pretty lowball hourly figure in order to enhance our chances. After being out of work for so long I agreed. I've since learned that I was the best qualified candidate anyway, so I have to wonder if that's not their typical policy designed to maximize the amount of profit that they gain via the difference ln what associates agree to work for and TEK agrees to charge the employer. Not trying to indicate they're underhanded in any way; only that I found their concern with my hourly wage requirement to be unwarranted, and well below what my experience should typically allow me to make.
