      Pros

      Recruiter was in touch with me regularly, providing feedback from client. Recruiter offered to treat me to lunch every month or so! Client account manager also periodically checked in with me. Communications were good. Was laid off after three months at client organization due to cost-cutting. TEKsystems did what they could do find me more work, but couldn't... But I would work for them again.

      Cons

      Tough job market meant TEKsystems couldn't offer me a new opportunity.

      Pros

      Wonderful training and learning opportunities. Great people throughout the company that make going to work a pleasure. You really learn the business inside and out. If you get on a roll, you can make a lot of money! Leadership is motivated and intelligent. They really give you the tools you need to do your job and make every attempt for you to be successful.

      Cons

      Extremely low base salary. Although you CAN make a lot of money, the people who actually do this are a small percentage within the company. Long hours and little work/life balance. It is expected that you work around 60 plus hours a week. Very high stress environment. Some favoritism is shown as well.

      You get a weeks pay, paid weekly

      Cons

      When contract ends, employment ends. Notification of terminated contracts, or contracts renewing is last minute and often overlooked. We have been told more on-the-job about layoffs that week without any warning. This has been happeneing for years.
