Pros
Some corporate perks- PTO and health insurance- but that's very minimal. PTO is accrued they don't encourage employees to take it (you'll most likely be expected to be tied to your phone and email while on pto). The health insurance is very bare minimum. You’re also paid on the number of placements/contractors you put to work. The pay is very inconsistent- i.e. you’re paid for every hour your contractors work/log their hours. There is the opportunity to make a lot of money and that’s the motto that they sell to their employees to get people to stay. But the reality is that it’s not realistic or attainable for everyone. Only a very small percentage of recruiters actually make money regardless of how much effort is put in.
Cons
I can truly say out of all the places I've worked in my adult life this is by far the absolute worst. The TEK Charlotte office is one of the toxic/cringy company cultures I've ever experienced. It screams hustle culture- awful management and extremely unprofessional. Very high turnover, lots of office gossip, and no work life balance.
