You are not trained properly and are put under immense stress to perform at a certain level. I was also not made aware of or offered FMLA while my father was dying of cancer when all of management was aware of the situation. The company culture is incredibly toxic. Upon quitting because my mental health was suffering because of my father’s terminal illness, I was told by the DBO, “if your mental health is poor here, it will be poor everywhere” instead of being a decent human being. Maybe if I was offered FMLA instead of being pressured to perform under such impossible circumstances, it would not have gotten to this point. My father died a week later and I regret not quitting sooner to spend more time with him instead of staying with this toxic company.

Start out with low-hourly rate and "earn" your base salary, work your tail off in a sweatshop, loud office (blasting inappropriate music and everyone is yelling or banging a gong), toxic environment, people use you or give you mixed feedback, poor management, poor development from management, immature and unprofessional folks, will lie to you and change their mind as the "team or market develops"
