Pros

I feel one of the best reasons to work at TJMAXX would be to earn extra money on the side if you have a full-time job. Also you have the chance to see new merchandise as it comes in, and often have the first opportunity to to get it before customers.

Cons

Tjmaxx only offers minimum wage starting out and raises are not very generous compared to how much the company makes in profit. Also the employee discount is very stingy.

Pros

Flexible and good for a requesting time off (for college) They also promote from within a lot. Good place to work

Cons

At times some of your co-workers can be lazy and unmotivated which is really frustrating and also sometimes the unset schedule wears on you.

Pros

it's a job. Its not horrible, but it's not great either. If you are young and just looking to collect a paycheck, then its fine. I am in my early 30's and am looking for a better opportunity.

Cons

The pay is not great, $8 an hour. They dump all kinds of responsibility on you, which wouldn't be bad if they paid more for the increased responsibility. Management only cares about their own asses, and some are condescending. The worst part about this store is the customers, they are absolutely awful.
