      Pros

      ESOP is great if you plan to stay, but I haven't seen my ESOP statement since the year prior to leaving.

      Cons

      No work from home option for the most part. Rare occurrences, if you get approval. If bad weather arises, as it most often does during Iowa winters, they suggest you get a hotel room close to the office rather than work from home. That doesn't include your family, just you. Pay is average at best, especially for the expected work and tenure. Rotating holiday work spread out throughout customer service and dispatch. PTO is laughable, only 10 days per year for first 5 years, 15 per until year 10, then 20 after that.

      Pros

      Will teach you the ropes with very in-depth training and you will make good money if you actually push and work hard for it. They will take care of you if you take care of business and will get you home on the weekends (most times)

      Cons

      Its flatbed, you are expected to work in all weather conditions (which is normal for the job). Some weeks you might not make it home on Friday either because a shipper took too long or your fleet manager gave you a wrong load. Doesn’t happen too often but there is that.

      Horrible company to work for if you go into management

      Pros

      Don’t need a degree to get in the door. You can move into management from driving

      Cons

      Management from the bottom to the top is HORRIBLE. Low salary, won’t get a raise 0 progression, won’t get promoted Learn noting, you get no training from upper management Lack of control/insight into the company. You don’t run pnl’s, don’t know your own account numbers. They grade accounts by some crazy metric that only the higher higher ups know the true numbers from.
