Easy job, mainly cleaning and customer service. Opportunities to learn.
Pros
- Nice mix of being out the front supporting customers and completing tasks out the back (equipment cleaning etc.) - Very much a global company - you are regularly invited to online training and townhalls with the big wigs in Norway, Michigan, etc. The company is good at providing accessibility for all staff members to industry knowledge and trends. It feels very inclusive and has a good culture. - Easy parking - Company is in an industry doing good things for the world (resource recovery)
Cons
- I guess the money isn't anything to write him about (Waste Management Award), but the weekend penalty rates make up for that a bit. - How good the job probably relates to the Depot Supervisor. I've heard some can be a micro-managerial. My Depot Supervisor regularly talked at me like I was an idiot (even though we were similar in age and I was always respectful to him. It got frustrating and made me dislike the job at times).
