Pros

I was hesitant to accept the offer due to the reviews here. Took a chance because anything would have been better than my last job, but this ended up being great and exactly what I needed in my career (at least so far)! No real complaints, just growth and a positive environment. Hoping things stay this way amidst uncertain times. - Pay is good. Coming from a large consulting company, the pay is great! - Fun and challenging work. - Nice and smart teammates. - Learning engineering best practices, which is a stark difference from my previous employer. - Remote work - Work life balance

Cons

- Somewhat isolated since a good chunk of the employees are not in KS

The new office is nice

Cons

Unstable and immature leaders. This is the first time any of them have held a leadership position and it shows. Get ready to feel every bump as they refuse to learn from others and figure it out on their own instead. Not a single bit of experience or expertise. Severe micromanagement. AI product is such a joke it's borderline on dishonest in its marketing. When I mentioned I was joining, local tech leaders said "Wow. They're still around?". Their aggressive inexperience leads them to reject industry standards and regulations with confidence. This company is a disaster waiting to happen. Do not join if you would like to keep your clearance.

Pros

Decent culture, good benefits, some really talented people

Cons

Lack of real direction and a lot of constant pivoting, some messy politics when you look up the food chain, but it’s alright if you keep your head down and do what you’re told (most of the time)
