Pros

If you enjoy high paced, high volume environment, this is a great place to work. Lots of events and exposure to the golf/resort industry.

Cons

There is not a ton of room for growth for non-golf professional or non-sales positions. Merchandise is all managed thru headquarters and the club level merchandisers just do all the heavy lifting. Not enough pay for someone to manage almost $2M retail per year.

Amazing learning experience for customer service -- a chance to build relationships with customers and make them members for life.

Cons

You'll need to remember each member's preferences, and these can be very particular/specific. There is also a lot of cleaning involved, but you'll get used to it!
