Pros

Benefits and working for the biggest semiconductor manufacturing company

Cons

There are several significant drawbacks to working for this company. One of the most significant issues is the HR department, which is not very effective. American HR representatives do not have the power to make changes, while the Taiwanese HR representatives are resistant to change and often take the side of their own people. As a result, morale within the company is very low, and employees may feel exploited if the company believes they are vulnerable. The job content assigned to employees is not always what was promised during the interview. For example, an employee may be hired as an engineer but only taught technician-level jobs unless they are Taiwanese. Additionally, the company has recently begun to bully some employees into resigning due to poor performance without proper training. Those who quit are often replaced by Taiwanese locals
