TSMC's top-down culture leaves little room for employee empowerment and input. As an equipment engineer, I have felt disempowered and undervalued, with decisions being made without considering the expertise and insights of those directly involved in the work. TSMC should foster a culture that encourages employee involvement, promotes open communication, and values the contributions of all team members. By empowering employees, TSMC can tap into their full potential and drive greater success for the company as a whole.

Sweat shop environment. Managed by fear. Fab workers not treated with Respect. Senior management is clueless. Unsafe environment, poor focus on safety. If your not Taiwanese, you are a second class citizen.

World's undisputed manufacturing leader of leading edge silicon. Growing like crazy so opportunities for learning and growth are limitless. Come if you love solving problems and making what makes all the devices in the world go!

Cons

Hours are long, doesn't matter what function and especially in TD or leading edge fab expect it. After seeing this in multiple companies and countries the hours here aren't longer than anywhere else. Come if you want to do similar hours, but be at the winner! The culture is hierarchical, extremely disciplined, and focused. The business drives fast daily pace and relentless focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Some would like to say it is Far East or Taiwanese. I'd say it is TSMC unique as it is company specific that has resulted in competitive edge and world wide domination. Certainly not for everyone, nothing comes without a tradeoff.
