TSMC's lack of employee empowerment is a significant drawback within the company. The hierarchical structure and top-down decision-making processes limit employees' ability to contribute meaningfully and make decisions that impact their work. There is a lack of autonomy and empowerment, which can lead to decreased job satisfaction, disengagement, and missed opportunities for innovation and improvement. TSMC needs to prioritize employee empowerment by decentralizing decision-making, providing opportunities for employees to have a voice in their work, and fostering a culture that values and encourages employee contributions. By empowering employees, TSMC can tap into their expertise, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, leading to increased engagement and organizational success.

I worked there a few times, and a number of our American workers just be standing around lackadaisical & talking entitled, not all. In addition, TSMC needs to know we have labor laws & normally work 2000 hours a year. We have loyalty to our families, not a corporation.
