      Work is pretty easy, job security is top notch

      Cons

      -Uncompetitive pay (2026 update: the senior software engineer positions are asking for 10+ years of experience and the median pay is 169k) so you'll only hire the worst engineers or someone who's way too desperate -Although there's not that many people like this, there's a high chance you'll work with people who are either morons, inconsiderate, or both (can only speak about this location) -Processes are outdated (on every engineering team) and even if you put in effort to show a better alternative, efforts to adapt are non-existent
