      Awesome company to work for!

      Pros

      Competitive salary + bonus; great executive leadership; financially stable; overall employee retention

      Cons

      unexpected geographical relocation with no remote option even though we proved to get through a pandemic successfully. Some of the management is not supportive of career growth, it seems like they are protecting their own role and keeping others stagnant which reduces company morale.

      Great benefits. Flexible work schedule.

      Cons

      Senior management is poor. Poor communication and employee management. Pay doesn’t match comps in area. They try to comp rail jobs, but not many comps in Chicago. Left the company and made significantly more pay. Benefits will not be matched.

      Pros

      Great benefits, including free healthcare. Plenty of budget support for projects and business-critical initiatives. Lots of team-building opportunities. Reasonably well-thought-out hybrid office environment.

      Cons

      Zero respect for work-life balance- being 'on call' means you are working at all hours of days/nights/weekends, even on non-critical tasks. A lack of project discipline and poor communication of priorities leads to confusion. While one doesn't normally consider lavish budgets a problem, here it leads to a lack of discipline: spending too much where it's not needed and not enough where it actually is.
