Who will he bring with him to right the ship? The anticipation has everyone on edge. There are rumors flying around that he may facilitate an acquisition by Amazon, similar to what Stephen Elon did with Nokia, selling itself to Microsoft. With a depressed stock price, Tableau is pretty cheap to Amazon and it will definitely boost their current data visualization offering.

Pay, Pay & Pay- Have to pay a fair wage. In my tenure to include me I left for a similiar position but at almost double the OTE. In order to keep talent you have to pay talent. It is true Tableau will not negotiate your starting salary but promise to increase on performance. Year one I was over 100% annual, year two I hit annual in August. No real pay increase. Insult to injury on the enterprise team there were ZERO accelerators. Seriously who in sales doesn't get the chance to better their OTE and company? Lastly I left because no one could tell me my next role path. I wanted to be in the filed and depending who I spoke with in upper management I got different responses.
