Pros

Employee discount on meal breaks. There is a path for climbing the ladder to become a store manager.

Cons

There is no autonomy, and the job is very tedious—no professional development.

Pros

If you like their food you do get discounts, the prep area itself (dependent on location) was not too closed in or tight, everything was relatively easy to prep and make, even the more complicated food items. The management I had was for the most part enjoyable to work with and kept things in order. Pay for what you were doing was reasonable.

Cons

We would be understaffed at the worst of times leading to stressful situations, lackluster line cooks could easily mess up the groove/flow slowing everyone down. Unruly/demanding customers (comes with every service job). And scheduling for the following week would take place at the last minute.
