Pros

The hours are flexible and you meet some interesting characters there. Most everyone working there was really friendly.

Cons

The pay is the biggest downside. I was not paid enough to do my jobs nor was I recognized for my efforts to go the extra mile.

Pros

Great experience for working with the public Usually good camaraderie amongst coworkers Can be a fun place to work as long as you don't take the job too seriously

Cons

No benefits Lots of physical labor Not much to offer as far as lifelong career goals unless you're aiming for management position Working with the public (if you're not a people person) Dealing with drunk and/or belligerent customers late at night, after the bars close Dollar amount of periodic performance raises are usually very small, usually in cents rather than dollars
