People know it and stay quiet - high consolidation in the gaming market means employees have very little bargaining power, and the management knows it. They will keep their costs low at your expense. - time tracking takes up a ton of time, and it's encouraged to be done at your "free from work work time" aka evenings. That's on top of tracking everything in Jira. Not much time is put into planning, but all of the time is put into tracking the lack of planning, with management acting all surprised about where the time goes into and blaming the employees of ineffectiveness. There were definite hints from line managers on how to fake the numbers so that nobody asks any questions. In a nutshell, the fish has started to rot from the head.
