      Pros

      The loyal customers are a joy to assist. It is almost like a sorority, or secret society. The customers will seek you out and what to know about your life outside of the store. They are the reason I keep coming to work.

      Cons

      Lack of respect, constant schedule changes, high pressure to always sell more, and now your are expected to do it in heals at least 3.5 inches high. The company is reactive and in a downward spiral, every day it is something new in regards to how we are to merchandise, and exactly which words we are to use and not to use. I am not making this up, I am living it.

      Pros

      - Well established company - "Red Rose" dollars used to be given to employees...to be used to in store purchases - Clean and well organized stores

      Cons

      - Managment and upper managment very snobby - Put way more emphasis on dollar goals and not excellent customer service - Tend to favour employees who have been there very long

      Pros

      I loved the women I worked with in the store and had a liked helping their customer. Their product was of great quality. I loved executing visual merchandising incentives.

      Cons

      Corporate Management left a looming death atmosphere on their employees. True sales are how business is made, however threatening employees with termination for their inability to meet sales goals in a down economy. Very stressful negative work environment.
