Pros

Best clothing discount in retail I believe. Stores always nice; in nice locations. In general, nicer clientele than most other retail establishments.

Cons

Same as with all retail. Only part time positions available. Shifts changes. No benefits (for P.T.). Low hourly pay. Tremendous pressure to perform as if you were a full-time, commission salesperson. Must hit numbers for sales dollars, opening credit cards, pieces sold, customer call backs, thank you notes written - even though you are part time with no commission potential for meeting or exceeding numbers. Perform janitorial services, including cleaning (public) bathrooms.

Cons

Retail life...It's demanding but rewarding.

Pros

Get to work with nice, professional associates and clients. Clothing discount is nice too. Very appealing and clean work environment.

Cons

Salaries are much too low for sales expertise and service given to clients. Retailers should pay sales staff who work directly with consumer so much more.
