Great place to work, very family oriented. Supportive supervisors…

Cons

Great place to work but quickly falling behind pay scales of other companies. About 11 per hour behind DCP midstream ( advertised 51.97 per hour for a plant operator) And about 10 per hour behind our neighboring Sinclair Wyoming refinery. Seems like the folks in Lakewood Co don’t do their homework when looking at wage adjustments for current and new employees…

Pros

Work life balance is the best I've ever had. They will spend the money to buy you the things you need for the job at hand. Very good with in house training and offer to pay for training if it relates to the job.

Cons

Micromanagement Planning isn't a thing and it should be for a fast growing company. Lack of communication makes it pretty hard on a work group. Heard some pretty inappropriate things about the background of an employee that makes it pretty unsettling and uncomfortable Verified it was true. Operations Specialists have the most duties and are the lowest paid. Upward mobility for internal employees. Pay and Benefits aren't even close to what industry competitors offer. The schedule is what keeps most people working at Tallgrass.
