Tantor Media is a company that has grown by 300% in the last 5 years. It has gone from a mom and pop small business in a garage to a multi-million dollar per year business while holding onto small business values. One of the only growing fields in publishing. The management (upper and middle) takes great pride in creating a work environment that is happy, flexible and conducive to maintaining work/life balance-- while balancing an intense amount of growth. Don't listen to one unhappy reviewer. Some people get to read for a living! It's not always going to be Pulitzer prize material. Company parties, BBQs, ice cream trucks, walking groups, full benefits, flexible scheduling...this is a team atmosphere. It is still publishing and in southeastern CT. The pay reflects that, but most of us who went to school for a liberal arts degree knew what we'd be getting into
