Pros
Pay and benefits are pretty good, most....except for a few...of the operators I work with are pretty good guys.
Cons
Management, management....did I mention management? I won't say which unit I'm at....but it has a "LEP 2" unit. The two least competent guys are in the supervisor and Superintendent positions. Both of them have been investigated by HR for being under the influence of various substances which on company time.....and yet they're still here mysteriously. The ones that mess up the most are protected and the ones that don't are under the microscope....basically what you get away with depends on who you are. The shift lead on C shift can literally do "no wrong" and when he does....management covers up for him and blames someone else. This place has potential but it's not capitalized upon. They're literally pushing out all the managers who made it a good place to work and deliberately are replacing them with ones they know will run the place into the ground....at least that's how it feels. Operators are scapegoats for everything.
