Pros

The pay isn't bad if they give you the hours. I would say that my co-workers are what keep me coming back to this job, they are very helpful especially in stressful situations. You become familiar with some guests that are regulars and they are always happy to see you and can make your day a bit better.

Cons

The management sucks. It feels as if they don't have your back in any situation. I believe that Target promotes bad behavior when they award aggressive behaviors. By that I mean if a guest is hostile or mad and complains even if the situation isn't the cashier's fault, management will give them gift cards to apologize for their bad experience. And when this happens it teaches guests that if they come in and cuss us out, they can get whatever it is that they want. I understand that it is a company and they want people to keep coming back but it shows the employee's that you don't have their backs. And the return policy is not set in stone which makes it difficult for us to uphold it, they just continue to tell us "make it right for the guest" let's see how long this policy will last.
