Good people, horrible management
Pros
* Flexible work in terms of areas you're allowed to flex into. * Decent flexibility in terms of work schedule. * More leniency in terms of how you run your department than other areas. For the most part, you're left alone.
Cons
*Depending on management, things can change in a moment. Management at my store went from laid-back and thus we actually got things done cause we were happy to cause immense turnover when they started micromanaging bathroom breaks, water bottles, and other minutiae. * They hire seasonal kids during the holidays who will do absolutely no work, and you WILL be blamed for the slack when freight starts piling up... Even if the turnover this causes among long-time veteran employee's is part of the issue. Management here DOES NOT care and the one's who did care were forced out. * Target DOES NOT care about mental health. At least the management at this store does not. Be warned.
